Welcome to your new site.

Eagle Ministry, a part of the Ghana Baptist Convention, has been working in the North Eastern Mission Field of Ghana, Africa since 2005. Yendi was chosen because of its central location and the Ditney Baptist Church was the first church planted there in April of that year. It became the “Hub” of all other church plants. Ministry teams began to contact villages and asked for permission to come in and share the gospel. Countless villagers have received Christ. When a church is planted, one or more pastors are chosen. Then education and training is provided for them. Five hundred and fifty churches have been planted to date. Most of the work has been done among six indigenous people groups: the Konkomba, the Dagomba, the Anufo, the Basare, the Nanumba, and the Gonja. Although several churches have also been planted in the neighboring countries of Togo and Niger.

Eagle Ministry also partners with several churches in the United States and other countries. Short-term mission teams come to Ghana to work and to help meet the overwhelming needs of the people. Sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ, following His leading and promoting His gospel.
